Summary of Specifications:
SCOPE: The work to be performed under this contract includes the replacement of the Sunset Street Bridge over the St. Vrain River in Longmont, Colorado. The work shall include removals; excavation; dewatering; bridge demolition; bridge construction; roadway construction, channel widening, storm drainage pipe and inlet construction; traffic control; erosion control; grading and site restoration of areas disturbed by the construction. The Contractor shall supply all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work in accordance with the Plans and Specifications. . BID CONDITION: This project is within Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) right-of-way; therefore, prospective bidders must be prequalified by CDOT. The prime contractor shall be prequalified in at least one of the following CDOT Work Codes: 10 – Small Bridges or 11 – Minor Structures.
