The City of Longmont desires to look in-depth at the services provided by the City of Longmont’s Economic Vitality Division and LAEC in order to optimize efficiency and effectiveness, as well as address any identified gaps in other areas of economic development in Longmont. There are several organizations involved in economic development efforts in Longmont, although the focus of the proposed study will focus on the Longmont Area Economic Council and the City of Longmont Economic Vitality Division.
