RFP-TK-13038 - UNDERGROUND UTILITY CONSTRUCTION (ON CALL)

Summary of Specifications:
LPC has need for an experienced Contractor(s) to install the Electric and Broadband subsurface infrastructure on an On-Call Contract basis, at various subdivisions, to expedite the installation of electrical facilities in: 1. Directional boring a) Includes electric and broadband utility construction b) Materials may include empty HDPE or Cable-in-conduit (CIC) 2. Subsurface Utility Construction a) Trenching and compaction b) PVC conduit installation c) Cable-in-conduit (CIC) installation d) Junction box installation e) Ground sleeve installation f) Vault Installation g) Street light pole and base installation h) Installation of broadband fiber optic cable Development projects are planned but there are times when horizontal boring services are required on an emergency basis due to outage response. All required construction for the completion of this contract shall be covered by the provisions set forth in the City of Longmont Design Standards and Construction Specifications and LPC design requirements. Specifications may be found at http://www.ci.longmont.co.us/lpc/const_develop/design_standards. tm The City of Longmont provides all materials for services stated in statement of work.
