2017WW02 - 2017 Wastewater Roof Replacement

PROJECT NARRATIVE
The current EPDM roof at the Wastewater Admin building is in need of replacement. The building has flat and sloped roofing. The sloped portions of the roof are standing seam metal and are in good condition.
 
SCOPE OF WORK

• Proposal pricing to include all materials, labor and required insurance.

• Permit required. Permit fee waived, contractor’s license fee may
• The City of Louisville is tax exempt
• Remove & replace wall and penetration flashings
• Describe proposed roofing detail to install new membrane flashing under existing metal roof.  Flashing shall extend to a minimum vertical height of 12” above the bottom of the sloped roof.
• Existing EPDM roof will be removed. Provide ½” high density polyiso cover board and attach with roof screws and insulation plates.
• Fully adhered PVC 60mil membrane roof and flashings, color white
• Roof penetrations will be detailed as per manufactures approved specifications
• Remove existing coping metal, run flashing membrane up and over parapet walls, install new custom fabricated 24 gauge prefinished coping metal with hidden hook strip
• Eave material will be fabricated and tied in properly to new membrane.
• Existing gutters and downspouts may be reused.
• New metal that is visible from the ground will match existing in color
