The scope of the project includes: (1) assistance with design services; (2) construction document preparation services; (3) prep graphics for public outreach / stake holder meetings; (4) demolition and removal of the existing playground and playground components. (5) site work and grading; (6) utility coordination and protection; (7) Construction/installation of site and playground elements that are creative, inviting and suitable for children 2-5 years of age and also for children 5-12 years of age. Elements may include but are not limited to, poured in place safety surfacing, wood fiber, play equipment, site furnishings concrete, concrete curbing and flatwork; (8) site cleanup and restoration.
The preferred design will need to address all items needed to implement the demolition and renovation of the playground such as ADA accessibility, pedestrian safety, circulation and drainage.
