Description

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit offers from qualified Life, Disability and Leave Administration providers for the City. The City intends to enter into a contract with one experienced and qualified Proposer to administer all lines of coverage. The City requests proposals for the following lines of coverage:

Basic and Voluntary Life Insurance
Long Term Disability
Short Term Disability
Accident – voluntary
Critical Illness – voluntary
Leave Administration

Any questions, interpretations, or clarifications, either administrative or technical, about this RFP must be submitted by electronic mail to Jake Davidson, at Jake.Davidson@imacorp.com with a copy to Travis Colvin at travis.colvin@cityofloveland.org. Inquiries are due no later than Friday, June 6, 2024. Responses to inquiries will be posted as an addendum to the original RFP document at www.bidnetdirect.com/colorado no later than June 10, 2024. Oral statements concerning the meaning or intent of the contents of this RFP by any individuals are invalid. From the date of issuance of this RFP until announcement of the successful Bidder, Bidders may only contact the above named individuals with questions and clarifications.

Proposals must be received electronically at bids@cityofloveland.org AND a copy to Jake.Davidson@imacorp.com on or before 2:00 p.m. Mountain Time (“MT”) on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at which time they will be recorded, but not publicly opened bids@cityofloveland.org by date and time referenced above. City will not accept late bids.

Submitted emails must have the name of the project and bid number in the subject line of the email. Please list the company’s name in the body of the email. Attached documents should have the bid number and company name in the name of the document.

No bids will be considered which have not been received by the deadline set forth above, as determined by the city email server. The City is not responsible for delays occasioned by the internet, outages of service, the City email server, or any other electronic delay. The city email server scans all emails with attachments and delays the receipt of those emails up to 4 minutes, please plan your submission accordingly.
