RFP-2014-75 - Loveland 2015 Valentine's Winter Event

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Loveland, Colorado is seeking proposals from firms/individuals for event planning services for the 2015 Valentine’s Winter Event in February 2015. The event will take place in downtown Loveland from February 12-14, 2015. This will be the 5th Annual Valentine’s Winter Event. The event is held in downtown Loveland and is desired to be a destination event, attracting visitors from the region and beyond. In the past, activities included a snow sculpting competition along with live music, vendors, and games/entertainment for families. Several teams competed by creating snow sculptures. The event was juried and prize money was awarded; the winners were chosen by a panel of judges. The event drew over a thousand people each year and it is hoped that a broad ranging and multi-faceted marketing campaign will be implemented to significantly improve visibility for the event and to grow the event each year.
