The City is requesting proposals from qualified general contractors to act as a Construction Manager at Risk (CMaR) for construction of a major renovation to the Olde Course Maintenance Building.
The Olde Course Maintenance Renovation Project will include the renovation/reconstruction of the existing Maintenance Building at the Olde Course, with the following physical characteristics:
• Approximately 5,500 SF of an existing two-story maintenance shop will be demolished. All lead and asbestos materials have been removed from the building.
• Approximately 10,500 SF of a sprinklered single story pre-engineered metal building will be placed in the same area. The footprint of this new maintenance building will include equipment bays, heavy equipment storage, mechanic work bay with lift, grinding room and parts/office room, numerous offices, two restrooms with showers, and a lunch/break room.
• Approximately 2,200 SF of a non-sprinklered, single story pre-engineered metal roof covering a wash pit and parking spaces.
• Anticipated structural systems for the renovation of the Maintenance Building will include a pre-engineered metal building with interior steel framed partitions. All new foundations will be required.
• Limited site work will include grading, flatwork around entrances, improvements to fire access road, connection to existing utilities, parking lot rework, and minimal landscaping.
