The City of Loveland (City) is requesting proposals from a qualified design/build team (Contractor) for the design development and construction of nature play features at Oxbow Natural Area, located at 1135 Rossum Drive Loveland CO 80537.
Through this RFP, the City is seeking proposals from qualified “Design-Build” teams including but not limited to professionally licensed engineering and construction firms. The selected design-build team will coordinate with City staff to develop the designs for five nature play features based roughly on concept images provided by City Staff. The design-build team will construct the project based on plans and specifications developed by the Contractor and approved by the City.

There will be a mandatory Pre-Proposal Meeting at 10:00 a.m. MT, Monday August 23, 2021 at the project site, located at 1135 Rossum Drive Loveland CO 80537. From that location, we will walk the soft-surface trails including trails on the east and west sides of Rossum Drive. Proposers should be aware that the pre-proposal meeting will involve walking approximately 1 mile on unimproved, sloped terrain with variable conditions.

Submittals must be received electronically at bids@cityofloveland.org prior to 2:00 p.m. MST on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at which time they will be recorded, but not publicly opened. The subject line for the emailed proposal must include the RFP number and title “Proposal for Oxbow Natural Area Nature Play Features” with the Proposer’s name. Proposals will not be accepted after the date and time stated above.
