2022-30 - Police and Courts RTU #3 Replacement

City of Loveland City is the replacing the Rooftop Unit that serves the Patrol, Investigations, and Police Administration divisions at the Police and Courts Building.  Current unit is a 60-ton Trane Model #SLHG-C60.  40 HP 460/3 Phase Supply Fan motor with a VFD. 10 HP 406/3 Phase Exhaust Fan motor with a VFD. Unit is equipped with DX Cooling and a Hot Water coil served by the existing closed loop heating system.  Unit serves 21 Shut-off variable volume boxes and 20 Series fan powered variable volume boxes throughout the first and seconds floors of the building.  Awarded contractor for the project will replace current unit with new “like for like” RTU that can communicate with existing Trane Tracer Building Automation System (BAS).  Project is a “turn key” project and awarded contractor is responsible for all aspects of this project included but not limited to: removal and disposal of currently unit, install of new unit, integration of new unit to current BAS, and all City Building Division permits, fees, and inspections. City personnel will provide support with Building Division and communications with building occupants, but contractor is accountable for all deliverables associated with this project.
