This project is generally described in Section 011100, Part 1.01, Summary of Work, of the Technical
Specifications. This is the final phase of a stormwater outfall system to provide drainage protection to parts of south Loveland. This project, Phase 3, is the system upstream of Wernimont Regional Detention, across the Burlington Northern-Santa Fe Railroad tracks, and throughout the Sherri Mar Subdivision southeast of Taft Avenue and 14th Street SW. The project includes the construction of storm sewer, culverts, manholes, and inlets; replacement of existing waterlines and water services in the project area; replacement (upsizing) of a sanitary sewer in Colorado Avenue; and street reconstruction or pavement patching.

All proposals shall be received at the office of the City Clerk at the City of Loveland Civic
Center, 500 East Third Street, Loveland, Colorado 80537 prior to 2:00 p.m. (our clock) on
Thursday, October 3, 2019. The City Clerk’s office will receive, date, and time-stamp all
proposals. Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Proposal for
South Loveland Outfall Phase 3 Construction Manager at Risk (CMaR)”. Please also
include the submitting firm’s name and address on the sealed envelope. Any proposal
arriving after the deadline will be returned unopened to the prospective contractor.
Responsibility for timely submittal and routing of proposals prior to recording lies solely
with the proposer.
Perspective contractors shall submit SIX (6) bound hard copies of their proposal in
addition to one electronic copy in PDF format on a USB flash drive.
