2017-06 - The Foundery Utility Improvements

The project includes the installation of approximately 600 feet of eight (8) inch PVC waterline in
both Cleveland Avenue and Lincoln Avenue, the replacement of 380 feet of existing six (6) inch cast
iron waterline with eight (8) inch PVC waterline in East 3rd Street, from Cleveland Avenue to Lincoln
Avenue, and the installation of 12 inch gravity sewer main from the alley between East 3rd Street
and East 2nd Street to the proposed connection point in East 1st Street. This work will include two
(2) 100 foot guided pipe ram crossing under the Greeley Loveland Irrigation Company ditch with a
36 inch steel casing, one will accommodated both water and sewer lines, and the second casing pipe
will accommodate an electrical duct bank. A portion of the work will occur inside of the CDOT US
287 right-of-way. The work additionally includes connecting the existing water services to the eight
(8) inch PVC waterline, connection to the existing sanitary sewer system, traffic control, asphalt
patching, and other restoration.
