The City is seeking proposals from contractors interested in providing roof replacement for the Water & Power Service Center Buildings.
Proposer shall include in its proposal all labor, materials and equipment required to accomplish the work, and must have the ability to coordinate with other trade contractors hired by the City.
THIS PROJECT IS PHASED, THEREFORE CONSTRUCTION WILL PROGRESS IN SERIES, WITH A MAXIMUM OF 1 WEEK LAG BETWEEN EACH PHASE.
The Work consists of the replacement of the existing roof systems on the Water & Power Service Center, Building 1 – Roof Areas A, B, C, D, E & F (33,111 +/- sf), Building 2 – Roof Areas A, B, C & D (40,490 +/- sf), Building 3 (2,682 +/- sf) and Building 4 (2,704 +/- sf). Total Roof Area = 78,987 +/- sf
1. This project consists of complete removal of the existing PVC recovery roof system, underlying EPDM roof system, all insulations, flashings and trim metals and the installation of a new 80 mil PVC single ply membrane roof system including new high thermal insulation, high density cover board, new metal detailing and associated accessories.
