FR-2016-11-WBSS - Washington Bypass Slope Stabilization Build Services Flood Recovery

The first phase of this project will be Washington Avenue Slope Stabilization. This project will entail
stabilization of the failing slope using soil nail anchors and a drainage filter under the shotcrete surface.
This treatment will be similar to that used in the Williams Canyon Treatments.
The City of Manitou Springs (City) is seeking qualified Contractors for this project, which will include complete construction of the designed slope stabilization measures for the Washington Bypass slope face. Work shall consist of labor, equipment, furnishing and disposal of all materials, and supervision for construction. Contractor will also be required to obtain all required permits, comply with any permit tracking requirements throughout the duration of the project, and closeout all permits upon project completion.
This project is partially funded by the Natural Resources Conservation Service – Emergency Watershed Protection program (NRCS-EWP), and the chosen Contractor will need to adhere and be in compliance with all NRCS requirements (attached to this RFP).
