Summary of Specifications:
The Historic Arkansas Riverwalk of Pueblo Authority (Authority) is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from Urban Design, Landscape, and Civil Engineering firms (Consultant Team) for the preparation of schematic urban site design, landscape, and civil engineering improvement plans for the proposed facilities identified in Pueblo’s Professional Bull Riders University Heritage of Heroes Regional Tourism Application (RTA), in and adjoining the Gateway Park area of Pueblo’s Riverwalk, located in Pueblo's Creative Corridor. These improvements include both public and private facilities and improvements, which may include but are not limited to: the addition of an exposition hall to the Pueblo Convention Center; Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Arena Facility; surface and structured parking; Hotel and other private sector commercial structures; Heritage Events Plaza; Gateway Center Boat House Facility; Aquatics Center and Water Park; and the extension of the Riverwalk Channel. The selected Consultant Team shall coordinate the development of the site design with one or more Architectural and Engineering firms that have been or will subsequently be selected and responsible for the design of the unique RTA facilities and improvements. The selected Consultant Team shall have recent and applicable experience and qualifications in the areas of drainage and storm water management; utility infrastructure; circulation, access and parking layout; landscape architecture, plaza, and special event design; site and urban riverfront design; plan graphics; and familiarity with all applicable local, state and Federal construction requirements.
