Summary of Specifications:
In general, the successful bidder will provide services to replace the existing furnace at 2705 W. 23rd Street. Submitted prices are to include all charges for labor, materials, supplies, insurance, licenses, delivery, tools and equipment necessary to supply service requirements as listed within the Scope of Service. No faxed or electronically delivered bids will be accepted. Bids received after the time and date listed above will be rejected and returned. Site Inspection is not mandatory but strongly encouraged. Prospective bidders must satisfy themselves by personal examination of the work site and the proposed scope of work as to the correctness of any service or items requested in the bid. Bidder shall not, after submission of proposal, dispute or complain of such cost estimate, nor assert that there was any misunderstanding in regard to the nature or amount of work to be done. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any or all items covered in the Invitation to Bid, to waive informalities or defects in bids or to accept any bid as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the City. All services shall be contingent upon appropriation of the necessary funds and only after the receipt of a Purchase Order. All bids are subject to the conditions shown herein and must be enclosed in an envelope clearly marked with the project number and name. The rehabilitation services referenced in this project are being requisitioned by the City of Pueblo, Department of Housing & Citizens Services.
