Project Name: Implementation of Reusable Service Ware Pilot Program for Denver Food Establishments

The Office of Climate Action, Sustainability and Resiliency (CASR) is seeking a qualified and experienced organization to engage Denver food establishments and facilitate their transition from disposable food service ware to durable reusable food service ware for onsite dining. This work will be part of CASR’s Dine In With Reusables pilot program which aims to reduce the use of disposable products in Denver’s food service industry and calculate for business owners the financial savings from switching to reusable service ware. Similar projects in other cities have found that reusable food service ware can pay for itself in just a matter of months.  The purpose of this RFP is to fund up to $105,000 over one year for an organization to provide technical assistance and resources to Denver food establishments to make the transition to reusable service ware feasible for businesses owners that might not be able to do so otherwise.
