Description

This request is for a competitive Invitation for Bid (IFB) to select a qualified contractor to rehabilitate the gate apron pavement and utilities on Gates A34, A36, and A38 at Denver International Airport (DEN) during the 2024 construction season. These gates are in the southwest quadrant of Concourse A, near the center core. The scope of work will include demolition of reconstruction of the existing apron pavement and rehabilitation of underground utilities. As part of the project, existing heaving pavement will be removed, restoring positive drainage away from Concourse A. This project will be constructed concurrently with United Airlines “Gate of the Future” project, which will help minimize operational impacts associated with construction.
