UPDATED TO REQUIRE ELECTRONIC SUBMITTAL THROUGH BIDNET- ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS REMAIN THE SAME FROM THE PREVIOUS VERSION OF THE RFP (RFP NO. REP/CRN/7.31.2023)
The City and County of Denver, through the Resource Engagement and Prevention (REP) division at Denver Human Services (DHS), is seeking proposals for resource navigation services that strengthen individuals and families by connecting them with services and resources across organizations, city agencies, and systems. This funding opportunity is intended to improve or increase community-based connections to vital resources and other kinds of assistance available to people throughout our community.
We are seeking proposals from qualified agencies and organizations for projects which expand, develop, create, or otherwise provide resource navigator services which serve individuals and families, including marginalized or at-risk populations. The resulting services will help ensure residents have access to support for resource navigation.
Total funding available under this Request for Proposals (RFP) is up to $400,000. These funds have been provided in accordance with the American Rescue Plan Act, Public Law No. 117-2 (March11, 2021) (“ARPA”) to respond to the public health emergency with to the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) or its negative economic impact. Awards are estimated to be between $70,000 to $120,000 to support resource navigation. It is anticipated that multiple proposals will be awarded.
In addition to this RFP, DHS is releasing a similar solicitation for Resource Navigation Services Mini Grants through locally sourced funds. Respondents may submit responses for both resource navigation solicitations, but all respondents are eligible for only one award (meaning one award or contract for any given vendor across both funding opportunities). Awardees for either the ARPA or Mini Grant solicitations are not otherwise precluded from applying for future mini grants outside of the active award term.
