Description

Replacement of existing Motor Control Centers with Variable Frequency Drives for its two raw water pumping stations that provide the raw water supply to the Cañon City Treatment Plant. The work requires the removal of existing motor control starter cabinets, installation of new switchboards, power zone centers, variable frequency drives, active harmonic filters, and wire and cable.
Due to the long lead times for the VFD’s and the Active Harmonic Filters the CCWTP has purchased the (9) VFDs and (2) Active Harmonic Filters for the project. In addition, the Switchboards for the project were also purchased. The Contractor shall provide the remaining equipment, wire and cable and labor to install all equipment including the Switchboards, VFD’s and Active Harmonic Filters as part of this contract.

Contractor shall furnish a Payment and Performance Bond in the full amount of the Contract Price, as security for the faithful performance and payment of all Contractor's obligations under the Contract Documents, including the warranty. This bond shall remain in effect at least until two (2) years after the date of Final Completion.
