Description

The City of Fountain received notice of award of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from El Paso County for this project. CDBG regulations governing the grant require that to the greatest extent feasible, opportunities for training and employment arising in connection with this CDBG-assisted project will be extended to local lower-income residents within El Paso County. Further to the greatest extent feasible, business concerns located in or substantially owned by residents of the project area will be utilized. Bidding contractors will be required to submit a Housing & Urban Development Section 3 Plan.
This project is federally funded. As such Standard Federal Equal Opportunity and Employment provisions shall apply including Davis Bacon Act Wage provisions.
Removing and replacing damaged curb and gutter, sidewalk, crosspans, and installing several pedestrian ramps.
