19-FS2-3 - Remodel & Addition Project Fire Station 2 & 3

The project consists of remodeling approximately 1,255 square feet of the existing 6,200 square foot building and adding an addition that total 1,122 square feet.  The addition consists of 7 new bunk rooms and enclosing the existing exterior stair.  The remodel will include remodeling the existing kitchen by replacing the existing cabinets and providing additional cabinets.   All plumbing fixtures and appliances will be replaced.  Upgrades to the existing plumbing fixtures in both the Men and Women restrooms will be part of the scope and upgrade to all finishes.  An additional shower and sink will be added to the Men restroom.  Removal of an existing locker will occur and be replaced with a new storage room.  In the existing truck bay, the removal of two existing doors at the storage room will occur and two larger opening will be installed for easier access.  A new electrical service will need to be provided for the addition and remodel.

Fire Station 3 consists of the construction of a 40-foot x 60-foot premanufactured metal building with concrete floor slab and foundations for the location of additional fire vehicles. Electrical and mechanical systems will also be included in the scope.
