The City of Fruita (the “City”) is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to convert all existing light fixtures to LED at the Fruita Community Center. In an effort to go “Green,” all lights in the pool area, parking lot, and gymnasium have been converted previously. In 2020, the rest of the Fruita Community Center will be converted.
Scope of Services
The selected contractor must meet the following:
1. Remove all existing bulbs and convert to LED. It is preferred to use existing fixtures but understand that replacing an entire fixture might be needed.
2. The areas to convert are: entire upstairs fitness area and studio, front entrance hallway, light fixtures along the basketball courts, men’s and women’s locker rooms, meeting rooms and kitchen, senior center, west entrance hallway, vending machine area, men’s and women’s restrooms, and staff offices which includes the Lifeguard office.
The selected contractor is also responsible for
1. Labor and Travel
2. Freight
3. Removal and disposal of all fixtures and bulbs.
4. Safe Shipping and delivery of materials.
5. Secure all tools and materials at the end of each day
6. All work is to be performed in a professional manner in accordance with all Local, State and Federal codes, standards and recommendations.
