SCOPE OF PROJECT
Work under this contract shall include all labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform asphalt mill and overlay on Blake Avenue for the City of Glenwood Springs, in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. All work must be completed by August 31, 2021. This work will be completed once City crews have completed internal water, storm sewer and concrete work in the project area. Contractor must state on the bid schedule the date of completion.
Traffic Control

Work to be performed shall include all labor, equipment, materials, traffic control, mobilization fees, permits, and miscellaneous items necessary for the Blake Avenue mill and asphalt overlay project.
Asphalt Work
Scope of Work:
The south section of Blake Avenue from 29th street to HWY 82 is currently under extensive work including but not limited to a new water line, concrete landing pads, new C&G, storm drain features and asphalt repairs. As part of this project the City of Glenwood Springs is looking for a single asphalt contractor to perform all the mill and overlay work on this section of Blake Avenue during the summer of 2021. The City will take delivery of all removed asphalt (milled only) at the City storage yard (rodeo grounds) located on Airport Road in. The contractor will not be charged “dumping” fees but will be responsible for all trucking. The City will provide a wheeled loader and operator at the rodeo grounds during this time for milling stacking. The City will hire a third-party geotechnical company to perform all asphalt and base material testing during this project. The contractor will be required to coordinate with the geotech company directly with a 72 hour (3-day) advanced notice.
