2023-29P - Lift Station 11,000 Glenwood Meadows, Replacement Project

The City of Glenwood Springs (City) has determined that with the development of the Glenwood Meadows service area the existing 11,000 lift station is undersized and needs to be replaced. The existing lift station pumps 3,400’ to a gravity sewer main that feeds into a main lift station, 13,000, located on 7th Street. 13,000 collects all sewer within the city and pumps through two 16” forced mains to the City Wastewater Treatment Facility 3 miles to the west. 
The City of Glenwood Water Department is requesting quotes from qualified firms and/or individuals for the removal and replacement of the existing lift station 11,000 located approximately 500 feet northwest of the Midland Avenue and East Meadows intersection, Glenwood Springs, CO 81601.  The project consists of removal of the existing station and construction of the new station, connection to the 16-inch force mains, systems required per the design drawings, specifications and applicable Municipal Codes, Engineering Standards and Building Codes.
