CM111021 - Use and Acquisition of the Brickyard House Property

The City of Golden is requesting proposals for the purpose of contracting with a qualified party to assure the rehabilitation and productive adaptive use of a vacant city-owned historic structure. The City’s preferred outcome would be the conveyance of the structure and an approximate 0.83 acre lot on which the structure stands to a private party or non-profit organization. A long-term lease or lease/purchase may also be considered, however, the City desires that the successful bidder will bear all of the costs for rehabilitation and future operation and upkeep. The City does not want to assume any future costs for this structure or property.
