21-ENG-01 - On-going Water Resources Engineering Services

After the retirement and subsequent closing of City of Lafayette’s long time water resources engineering firm, the City desires to develop a professional services contract with an engineering firm to provide on-going water resource engineering services.  The City has a complex water resource system requiring considerable time to fully understand.  The complexity of Lafayette’s water system makes it inefficient for the City and consultants to evaluate projects on a case-by-case basis.  It is the intent of the City to find the engineering firm best suited to provide water resource work, regardless of any experience with Lafayette’s raw water system and to develop a long-standing relationship with City staff and the City’s water counsel, Johnson & Repucci LLP, as an integral part of the City’s comprehensive water team.
