The contracted work to be performed consist of furnishing all required labor, materials, equipment, implements, parts and supplies necessary for, or appurtenant to, perform the site demo, to replace existing turf, landscaped beds, irrigation system for xeric plants, and site amenities adjacent to existing easements. See attachments for construction documents and installation specs. The contractor will work with the design contractor, Munding Design, as project gets constructed. The contractor will be responsible for all permits, traffic control plan and locates associated with this project, if needed. At the completion of the construction the contractor must supply as-built plans for the irrigation (to scale) to the City of Lafayette. It’s preferred that the plans are in PDF. The contractor must price out all components of the project. Take note of the Irrigation Plan for median 10, reference install new power line to existing irrigation controller. Please bid each median island separately.
The City’s intent is to buildout the entirety of the project in 2023 but the construction may roll over into 2024. However, the City is requiring the contractor to bid out each median island separately. Please review the plans and take note of the details spelled out for each section.
