Through a competitive bidding process, the City selected C+B Designs in February of 2018 to complete a Master Branding and Wayfinding Signage Plan. This plan went through a rigorous public process to arrive at the designs and aesthetics of the complete signage system.
The City will phase in parts of the signage in the budget year of 2019. Those signs include (2) two Gateway signs on page 68, (5) Auto/Pedestrian signs on page 80, (2) 2 Pedestrian signs on page 83, (2) two Bus Stop/Bike signs on page 96, and (2) two Interpretive signs on page 103 of Appendix A. The specifications and details about each sign are located on page 62-64 of Appendix A. Please refer to the construction documents on page 108-113 of Appendix A.
The City received a $97,000 grant from the Colorado Health Foundation in September of 2018 to implement portions of the wayfinding and signage master plan as a way to activate outdoor recreational spaces and encourage a walkable and bikeable downtown community. Further, the City has budgeted $30,000 for the fabrication of gateway signage on both entries into town.
