This project involves public notification, traffic control, preparation and installation of crack treatments for:
3 Collector/Arterial Streets, 14,450 lb sealant
6 Parking Lots, 5,280 lb sealant and 2,935 lb mastic
Materials used for crack treatments shall be per the technical specifications contained in the project manual. All cracks including the asphalt to curb and gutter transition shall be cleaned and treated per the project maps. If all cracks on the project map have been treated and there is crack sealant materials remaining crack sealing will continue in same project area until all crack sealant materials have been used.
Traffic Control shall is expected to be one lane with flaggers on 16th Street and 7th Street with sufficient flaggers to handle intersections within work zone. Airport Road is expected to utilize flaggers and lane shifts.
Payment will be made per lb. which shall include all, mobilization, demobilization, materials, and equipment. All costs incidental to the preparation of the surface prior to application of the hot poured joint and crack sealant will not be paid for separately, but shall be included in the work. Traffic Control for the parking lots is incidental of the per lb cost. Traffic control for the streets is lump sum and paid separately.
