202305 - Waterline Restraint Rehabilitation Project

The project consists of rehabilitation of the 16 inch diameter waterline restraints. The restraints will be installed at the abutments of the Highway 13 bridges over the Colorado River and the Union Pacific Railroad. The work will include construction of four reinforced concrete blocks, and up to four unreinforced concrete thrust blocks, including excavation and backfill. The waterline is to be reset in its original position and restrained with steel anchors attached to the concrete blocks. Additional work required to complete the project includes: surveying, erosion control, traffic control, and remove and reset of wildlife fence and guardrail.
