The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is the facility owner of underground communication and electrical infrastructure that provides power and communication services to critical Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Region Traffic control devices, and lighting assets. These assets include cameras, weather stations, traffic signals, ramp meters, highway lighting, chain stations, and other technologies that enable CDOT to operate the highway system.
