CMU 2815 - Maverick Hospitality House

Colorado Mesa University (CMU) is soliciting the submittal of proposals from qualified firms
to provide Construction Management/General Contracting (CM/GC) services for the
Maverick Hospitality House located within the CMU Campus Boundary at 1520 N. 7th St. in
Grand Junction, Colorado. The Maverick Hospitality House is a residential building
constructed in 1920, with a total area of approximately 2,638 square feet. The University
requires a venue for hosting small, intimate functions that are unsuitable for the larger
campus spaces. The building is expected to be unoccupied during construction. The project
aims to address accessibility and code compliance while optimizing space utilization,
specifically by increasing the ground floor's capacity to serve as an event hosting area.
