Mines is purchasing 18 battery and energy monitoring systems for low-income homes for a Department of Energy (“DOE”) project.

Mines has determined that Emporia Energy is the sole vendor capable of providing low-cost energy monitoring systems and batteries. The modular battery system consists of 5kWh units, allowing for flexible configuration to meet the specific needs of each home. The energy monitoring system includes meters for every breaker within an electrical panel, along with software that collects data, transmits it to the cloud, and controls the battery.
