Colorado School of Mines (“Mines”) is seeking qualified firms (“Vendor” or “Contractor”) to provide Printing and/or Design Service (“Services”) on an ongoing basis. Mines requires Services throughout the calendar year for a wide variety of publications.Publication types and consequential services will include, but are not limited to, large-run publications, short-run print jobs, signage, large runs, postcards, die-cuts, and mailing services, design services (ranging from artwork for small pieces to multi-page publications). It is Mines’ intent to establish an “Approved Contractors” list. Mines does not have a set number of awarded vendors required for establishing the list. Mines will award the suitable number of vendors Mines deems necessary to ensure that Services listed in the scopes of work are adequately available to campus. If awarded, there is no guarantee of work. As the need for Services becomes necessary, a Mines representative may reach out to one or several of the awarded vendors to discuss Service details. The final Approved Contractor List will be valid for two (2) years from the date of execution with the options to extend up to five (5) years.
All awarded vendors will sign a Master Task Order Agreement. A sample agreement is attached as Exhibit A. Any Services costing less than $5,000.00 will be paid for by credit card or check, Services exceeding $5,000.00 will be authorized via purchase order, and any Services involving a detailed scope of work (i.e. publications, large printing jobs, etc.) or that exceed $50,000.00 will be authorized under a Mines’ Task Order, and a purchase order will be issued. No matter the method of payment, all orders will be governed by the terms of the Master Task Order Agreement.
