Summary of Specifications:
Water Resources Department is interested in receiving qualified responses from professional Electrical Contractors for Electrical Breaker Testing at all Water Treatment Section facilities. This breaker testing is part of Water Treatment’s Section reliability maintenance program to ensure that these systems and apparatus perform satisfactorily, minimizing downtime and maximizing life expectancy and for the safety of our employees and equipment. This request is to visually and mechanically test and inspect all low voltage air circuit breakers, molded case circuit breakers, and protective relays The following Colorado Springs Utilities Water Treatment facilities will be utilizing these services • Las Vegas Waste Water Treatment Plant • McCullough Water Treatment Plant • Pine Valley Water Treatment Plant • Mesa Water Treatment Plant • Clear Spring Ranch Solids Handling Plant • Fountain Valley Authority Water Treatment Plant • UTE Pass Water Treatment Plant • Woodmen Water Treatment Plant
