Searching for an independent referee who is experienced in property valuation to conduct hearings on behalf of the Delta County board of equalization and to make findings and submit recommendations to the county board of equalization for its final action. This will require a narrative report of recommendation to the board of equalization and appearance before the board when making their final decision. Ad volorem assessment experience is preferred and ability to hold public hearings. Currently or previously held an appraisal license for property valuation. Flexible schedule between mid July and August 1st.
