Separate sealed bids for County Road 105 Bridge Rehabilitation Over Oakland School Gulch Project, Douglas County Project Number SP 2023-005, will be received by the Owner, Douglas County Government, Department of Public Works Engineering, Philip S. Miller Building, 100 Third Street, Suite 220, Castle Rock, CO 80104, until Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. This project consists of rehabilitating approximately 153 feet of a bridge structure and roadway crossing Oakland School Gulch. The project also includes removal of portions of the present structure, asphalt milling, joint sealant, waterproofing membrane, hot mix asphalt placement, concrete patching, erosion control, traffic control as well as other items.
The Contract Documents will be available after 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 13, 2023, through Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System Website (www.rockymountainbidsystem.com) or they may be obtained at the above address. Electronic versions of the Plans obtained by any other means than as described above may not be complete or accurate, and it is the Bidder’s responsibility to obtain a complete set of the Project Plans and Specifications. Douglas County will not be held responsible for misinformation received from private plan rooms.
A pre-bid conference will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at the Department of Public Works Engineering, Philip S. Miller Building, 100 Third Street, Suite 220, Castle Rock, CO 80104. All questions are due to Project Engineer by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 28, 2023. The Bid Opening will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at the same address.

- 202 SY Removal of Portions of Present Structure (Class 1, 2 and 3)
- 206 LF Joint Sealant
- 171 Tons Hot Mix Asphalt (Grading SX) (75) (PG 64-22)
- 411 SY Waterproofing (Membrane)
- 426 CF Concrete (Patching)
- 200 LF Epoxy Resin (Injection)
- 4 EA Embankment Protector Type 5
Prior to submitting a Bid Proposal, Bidders shall have received prequalification status (active status) with the Colorado Department of Transportation to bid on individual projects of the size and kind of work as set forth herein.
