Summary of Specifications:
Separate sealed bids for 2010 ASPHALT PAVING IN THE SURREY RIDGE SUBDIVISION, DOUGLAS COUNTY PROJECT NUMBER CI 10-012 will be received by the Owner, Douglas County Government, Department of Community Planning and Sustainable Development, Engineering Division, Phillip S. Miller Building, 100 Third Street, Suite 220, Castle Rock, CO 80104, until Thursday, July 22, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. This project includes the placement of asphalt overlay, gravel shouldering, pavement marking, and traffic control at the Surrey Ridge Subdivision in Douglas County.
The Contract Documents may be examined at the above address after 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, July 6, 2010, and copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained upon payment of $25.00 for each set. The $25.00 is non-refundable. (Additional charge if mailing is required.)
A PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at the Department of Community Planning and Sustainable Development, Engineering Division, Phillip S. Miller Building, 100 Third Street, Suite 220, Castle Rock, CO 80104. The Bid Opening will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 22, 2010, at the same address.

▪ AGGREGATE BASE COURSE (CLASS 6) - 1,118 TON ▪ HOT MIX ASPHALT (GRADING S) (PAVING) (HAUL AND ASPHALT) - 7,480 TON ▪ GEOTEXTILE (PAVING) (FURNISH AND INSTALL) - 40,831 SY ▪ PAVEMENT MARKING PAINT - 839 GALLONS Prior to submitting a Bid Proposal, Bidders shall have received prequalification status (active status) with the Colorado Department of Transportation to bid on individual projects of the size and kind of work as set forth herein.
