Important Note to Vendors:
The Parks & Trails Division of Douglas County Government, respectfully requests quotes for the provision of the purchase of Cedar Fence Materials, as specified, to be used throughout the County. All wood shall be rough sawn Western Red Cedar (Incense Cedar is not acceptable for posts or rails). The posts are to be a standard and better grade western red cedar. Other dimensional lumber will also be standard and better grades. The 2" lumber must be no less than 1/2" scant sawn. (Example: 2" x 4" can be no less than 1-1/2" x 3-1/2" in actual size). Boards are to be free of see-through defects with no rot, no wane or bark on either face. Boards must be no less than 5/8" thick. All knots are to be tight and sound. (Note: All grade specifications will allow for a 5% variation). Delivery must be included in the cost. Delivery to Highland Heritage Regional Park (HHRP), 9651 South Quebec Street, Littleton, Colorado 80130, on or before May 1, 2017, is required. Please call forty-eight (48) hours prior to delivery.
