Summary of Specifications:
The Facilities Management Department in conjunction with the Office of the County Manager of Douglas County Government, hereinafter referred to as the County, respectfully requests information from responsible, qualified individuals and/or companies to provide service consisting of supplying all furnishings, fixtures, materials, equipment, supplies, all labor, maintenance and other related services associated with the operation of a self-contained coffee cart business which will serve coffee and related beverages and possibly pre-packaged coffee-cart type food. On-site preparation of food will not be permitted. The business will be located in the lobby of the Philip S. Miller Building in Castle Rock, Colorado.
It is the intention of the County to review all RFI responses, short-list those responses, and interview those that have been short-listed. The results of this RFI could be handled in one of three ways, an award decision could be made from the RFI and interview process, a subsequent Request for Proposal (RFP) may be issued, or the decision to discard the coffee cart idea may be reached. Only those companies, who have submitted a potentially acceptable response to this RFI, will be allowed to submit a response during the formal RFP process.
