Summary of Specifications:
Separate sealed bids for Hess Road Extension – West Phase (I-25 Frontage Road to Water Treatment Plant), Douglas County Project Number CI 01-022 will be received by the Owner, Douglas County Government, Department of Community Planning and Sustainable Development, Engineering Division, Phillip S. Miller Building, 100 Third Street, Suite 220, Engineering Division, Castle Rock, CO 80104, until Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 2:00 pm. This project consists of approximately 3.63 miles of roadway including 3 bridges (multi span and single-span) for extending Hess Road. This project is the second phase to extend Hess Road from the Town of Parker to the I-25 / Castle Pines Parkway Interchange.
The Contract Documents may be examined at the above address after 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, February 16, 2010, and copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained upon payment of $35.00 for each set. The $35.00 is non-refundable. (Additional charge if mailing is required.)
A PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at the Department of Community Planning and Sustainable Development, Engineering Division, Phillip S. Miller Building, 100 Third Street, Hearing Room (Located on the First Floor next to Reception Area), Castle Rock, CO 80104. The Bid Opening will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at the same address, Suite 220, Engineering Department.
