Summary of Specifications:
Separate sealed bids for Lincoln Avenue Asphalt Overlay Project (1st Street to Chambers Road), Douglas County Project Number CI 09-002 will be received by the Owner, Douglas County Government, Department of Community Planning and Sustainable Development, Engineering Division, Phillip S. Miller Building, 100 Third Street, Castle Rock, CO 80104, until Wednesday, May 6, 2009, at 3:00 p.m. This project consists of milling and overlaying Lincoln Avenue between First Street and Chambers Road.
The Contract Documents may be examined at the above address after 10:00 a.m., on Monday, April 13, 2009, and copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained upon payment of $25.00 for each set. The $25.00 is non-refundable. (Additional charge if mailing is required.)
The Project includes the following major items and approximate quantities:
• 21,200 SY of Removal of Asphalt Mat (Planing) • 21,200 SY of Removal of Asphalt Pavement • 50 Ton HMA (Grading S) (Patching) • 4,662 Ton HMA (Grading SX) • 400 SY Geotextile (Patching) • 90 Gal Pavement Marking Paint • 335 SF Preformed Plastic Pavement Markings • Major Arterial Traffic Control
