DOUGLAS COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT RE.1 (DCSD) is requesting pre-qualification submittals from interested General Contractors for Modular Building (Classrooms) Moving Services.
Interested General Contractors shall provide turn-key services including labor, materials, and equipment which would include, but not be limited to:
a. Site visits
b. Drawings
c. Obtaining construction and fire permits from the local authorities having jurisdiction, the Certificate of Occupancy, and all required inspections (State, City, or Local)
d. Set up shall include the installation of ramps, decks, steps, and landings
e. Installation shall include ‘Low Voltage’ devices such as Smoke Detectors, Fire Alarm Pull Stations, Emergency and Exit Lights, and all other devices that comply with State and City Building Codes
f. Coordination with DCSD’s Security Department on their requirements
g. Coordination with DCSD’s IT and O&M Department’s on their respective requirements
h. Coordination with any of DCSD’s preferred vendors for landscaping, low-volt and/or additional work
i. Transporting portable classrooms from one DCSD site to another DCSD site
