Summary of Specifications:
DCSD is looking for multiple Windows devices to meet varying needs of our staff and students. The District is seeking a fixed cost for a range of enterprise-level Windows devices. Device selection should include Desktops, Laptops and Tablets. Other form factors will be considered. We would like device proposals in 6 Categories: 1. Admin/Staff Portable Devices - lightweight, fast, and powerful with attached keyboard 2. Staff/Student Portable Devices - midrange priced, capable, desktop application-oriented with traditional laptop features 3. Student Portable Devices - low cost alternative to Chromebooks for general browser, light application use with attached keyboard 4. Tablet Devices – any device which could enrich our educational programs or improve productivity of users. Anything with a detachable keyboard should be considered a tablet for the purpose of this RFP. 5. General Use Workstations - for staff and student use 6. Video Production Workstations - for high end users and video production-type needs
