17-054 - Construction of El Paso County Fairgrounds Improvements

The El Paso County Community Services Department (County) is seeking written bids from qualified, experienced contractors to provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary for Construction of Fairgrounds Improvements (Project).  The project generally involves construction including the trades of structural assembly, civil/site work, concrete/flat work, electrical, plumbing, landscaping and irrigation. Completed work must meet the scope of work, attached plans and specifications, and construction details developed by El Paso County (Attachment 1).  The work includes construction of foundations, concrete floor, and erection of a pre-engineered metal building (building components provided by County under separate contract); construction of a playground and splash pad with landscaping; installation of transformer and extension of electrical services to the 4-H campground; and construction of flat work, fencing and landscaping at the south gate entrance to the El Paso County Fairgrounds property.
