IFB-24-111 - Construction of the NRCS Emergency Watershed Protection Project - DPW Sites

El Paso County is soliciting bids from qualified, experienced, professional Contractors to furnish all materials, labor, and equipment necessary for the Construction of the NRCS Emergency Watershed Protection Project – Department of Public Works (DPW) Sites, which is to provide improvements to creek banks on Black Squirrel Creek at JD Johnson Road and Garrett Road; and Brackett Creek at Ellicott Highway within the eastern part of El Paso County. The proposed improvements include construction of concrete low water crossings, roadway culverts, in-channel boulders, steel sheet piling, riprap/soil riprap and permanent erosion control measures. Other activities also include mobilization, traffic control, and temporary stormwater control measures.

This project seeks to provide repairs associated with scour and erosion at three (3) roadway crossings sustained from Summer 2023 storm events.
