17-100 - Construction of the Rock Creek EWP Project

El Paso County, Colorado (County) is seeking written best value bids from qualified, licensed, and experienced contractors to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the Construction of the Rock Creek EWP Project (Project), which generally includes sediment removal, channel and slope repair, riprap installation and construction of grade control structures.
 
This Project is being funded through the following sources: Federal / Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) through the Emergency Watershed Protection Program – Recovery (EWP) (Grant ID No. 68-8B05-17-203) Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB) and the Golden Eagle Ranch LLC. The NRCS will be supplying a 75% federal portion of the funding, with the CWCB providing 12.5% and Golden Eagle Ranch LLC., and John May Museum are providing 12.5% of the funding.  El Paso County and the NRCS will have oversight of the Project. The Project has no DBE requirements and is not subject to Davis-Bacon
