18-019 - County Vending Machine Services

The El Paso County Facilities Management Department is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide various types and sizes of vending machines and vending services for use in various County facilities for County employees and the public. The objective of this Request for Proposals is to establish an exclusive contract with a qualified firm with proven experience in the management and operation of vending machines. The selected firm will enter into a General Services Contract with the County to provide the services outlined herein.
 
The County presently has twenty-seven (25) vending machines at eleven (11) different locations. The machines vend a variety of products including but not limited to chips, snacks, pastries and sodas.  The year-to-date sales total approximately $10,000.00. The minimum specifications for the services are set forth below. Please explain how you will meet or exceed the following specifications listed below. It is not the intent of this RFP to limit the scope of services to the basic specifications. After addressing how you will provide the services for the basic specifications, please provide and explain in detail all additional services you are proposing.
 
Proposals will be considered only from firms or individuals who are well-established in the business, who are financially responsible and who are experienced. The County may request additional information as deemed necessary prior to contract award.
