IFB-16-012 - Electronic Device Recycling

Summary of Specifications:
The El Paso County Community Services Department, Environmental Division (County), invites written bids from qualified and experienced vendors to provide end-of-life and Electronic device Recycling (e-waste) and disposal services to the County. 

The objective of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) and any resulting General Services Contract is to provide resource(s) for assisting the County in collecting, consolidating, transporting, and ensuring economically feasible and environmentally responsible recycling of e-waste. With the exception of specific written permission from the County, no e-waste under the IFB is to be refurbished, reused, donated, resold or otherwise reprocessed, except for disassembly intended for the purpose of recycling to manufacture new products in accordance with all local, state and federal laws. The County collects e-waste as defined by the state of Colorado Universal Waste Rule 6 CCR 1007-2, and 6 CCR 1007-3 Part 273 and disposes of e-waste in compliance with Colorado Senate Bill 12-133.
